You’re completely right that it wasn’t all Tebow in the Broncos’ run. But the whole Broncos team was awful until Tim was made the starter. (All this “You can’t blame it all on Sanchez” is exactly what they said about Kyle Orton; one Denver Post writer even called Orton the best player on a bad team.) The Broncos’ defense ranked near the bottom of the league right before Tim took over and suddenly they started playing well. They allowed 28 points per game under Orton and 17 under Tebow (partly because the slow careful offense they played with Tebow kept the defense off the field longer.) So people who think Tim can save the Jets are counting on all the Jets playing better as soon as he steps in. They’re expecting sudden improvement of the whole team, not just the QB position. I wouldn’t bet my life on that miracle happening twice, but I admit I wish I could see some team make the experiment.

I understand the concept of “TEAM” however, the reason that Denver’s defense was good last year was because Tebow kept drives allowed and kept the defense off the field. Sanchez can’t. He is HORRIBLE!!!! I like Tebow. I don’t think he is the answer, but, Sanchez isn’t getting it done. Lets just throw Tim in there

Yes, Tebow kept the D off the field last year, but I don’t think lighting can strike twice. You can give him a shot, but then you are saying it’s OVER for the Sanchez era. Once he gets benched it’s over. I don’t think the Jets are ready to do that. Rex is going to sink or swin with Sanchez. He drafted him and Mark is his boy. I truly believe he never wanted Tim.
