- Darrelle Revis Battles Back
New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis’ rehab process isn’t easy, but he has a lot of help in his quest to return to his pre-injury form in 2013.
- Jets Sign Kicker And Punter
Nick Folk will have to defend his job again as the Jets have signed kicker Derek Dimke who spent time with the Lions in the preseason in 2012. Dimke was considered to be the top kicker available in the draft in 2012 but went undrafted and signed on with the Lions and failed to unseat now retired [...]
- Draft profile: Jonathan Cooper, UNC
This is the sixth in a series highlighting players who could be selected by the Jets with the ninth overall pick in the April 25 draft:
Player: Jonathan Cooper, G, North Carolina
Height/weight: 6-foot-2, 311 pounds
Scouts, Inc. ranking: 9
Draft projection: 7th to 20th
Scouting report: This would be a controversial pick because no guard has cracked the top 10 since 1997 (Chris Naeole), but I hear the Jets really like Cooper. They have a definite need at the position, but could they pick a guard over a pass rusher or skill-position player?

- Revis ready to begin next phase in career
Darrelle Revis is running again — but not his mouth.
The Jets’ star cornerback, whose rehab from knee surgery is being chronicled by the NFL Network, didn’t address the trade speculation in the latest installment, which aired Thursday night.
“There’s been a lot of talk,” he said. “We’ll see what happens — if I’m there or if I’m not. But that’s the next step. That’s the next phase for me in my career, these next couple of weeks.”
Much to his chagrin, Revis will report Monday for the start of the Jets’ off-season program.
- Jets sign PK Dimke
The Jets acquired training-camp competition for incumbent PK Nick Folk, signing free agent Derek Dimke, his agent announced Thursday on Twitter.
It didn’t take long for the Jets to make a decision; they worked him out Thursday. Dimke was scheduled to audition for the Seahawks.
Some scouting services rated him the top, draft-eligible kicker in 2012. Dimke, undrafted out of Illinois last year, spent the 2012 preseason with the Lions. He attempted only two field goals and made them both — 40 and 31 yards.
- JetsInsider’s 2013 NFL Draft Rankings: RBs
Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be doing my own rankings of draft eligible players at their positions, today we’ll start with the running backs.
Shonn Greene is gone (pause for your mini re-celebration) and the Jets signed career backup Mike Goodson to join Bilal Powell and Joe McKnight in the backfield. I called Goodson [...]

- Jets Hosting Several Prospects
Need caught up on who the Jets have or will bring in for visits? JetNation has the info… The Jets hosted Texas safety Kenny Vaccaro yesterday. Vaccaro is considered the hands down best safety in this draft and totaled 92 tackles and two interceptions last season. Vaccaro is extremely athletic and versatile who can be [...]
- Tavon Austin To Visit With Jets
The Jets were selected by Tavon Austin as one of the teams that he will officially visit prior to the draft, according to reports from NFL.com and PFT.com. The wide receiver from West Virginia is believed to be the top wide receiver in the 2013 draft due to his great effort at the NFL combine and could be the [...]
