Through four games, the Texans defensive end has 7½ sacks, 32 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, five pass deflections and two fumble recoveries. He’s had at least 1½ sacks each game for unbeaten Houston.
“The guy is obviously struggling,” Jets head coach Rex Ryan joked.
On Monday night, though, it might not be a laughing matter. The Jets will have to find a way to keep Watt from creating havoc when they host the Texans at MetLife Stadium.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — Jets offensive coordinator Tony Sparano said it starts with him, that he hasn’t done enough to get the 2-2 Jets to a better place offensively.
“I’m not satisfied with my play,” Sparano said.
That was part of the reason Sparano defended starting quarterback Mark Sanchez on Friday when he addressed reporters in his weekly press conference. He admitted that the struggling quarterback has made errors, especially in the 34-0 loss to the 49ers last weekend.
