NY Jets QB Mark Sanchez the butt of Adam Sandler’s jokes during 12-12-12 relief concert

Mark Sanchez made a surprise appearance (of sorts) at Wednesday night’s 12-12-12 concert for Hurricane Sandy victims, although it probably wasn’t the kind he would have preferred.

Sanchez was the “butt” of comedian Adam Sandler’s parody of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” complete with New York-centric lyrics (“Hallelujah, Sandy, Screw ya”) and a couple of verses on the city’s sports woes.

The second verse of Sander’s diddy riffed on the Jets quarterback’s infamous butt-fumble in the Thanksgiving night game against the Patriots:

Cause we believe this, too, shall pass

Like when Sanchez fumbled into an ass
