When most players move on from a team, in today’s world, you see one or two consecutive tweets thanking an organization or the fans of the team.
Backup QB Greg McElroy always did things a little differently, and after being released yesterday, put out a tweet with a well though out statement that he attached to his twitter in the form of a graphic.
Greg’s injury to his leg and his inability to get on the field in any meaningful snaps made him expendable. It also didn’t help his chances that all the talk about the QB position for the Jets has been about Mark Sanchez and Geno Smith. Then the emergence of Matt Simms probably did put the nail in the coffin.
The chatter happening on Sunday night now is do the Jets still hold the rights to Greg because he cleared waivers?
League source says the Jets are under the impression they kept Greg McElroy via injured reserve but are seeking “clarification.”

Ah, trash talking in the Jets locker room, or in this case, online on twitter and Instagram. Brandon Marshall is doing some fishing to get the corner-backs to talk back that he's going to "EAT" in the red zone drills today. He apparently caught one…
