Brian Baldinger of NFL Network, who was at Jets camp on Sunday and said Smith looked out of shape during wind sprints following practice. According to the pundit, he said that Geno looked like he was struggling to even keep up with Matt Simms in sprints.
I spoke to many people who were at camp, and check out the tweet from Manish Mehta from the NYDN, it appears that Brian is trying to make headlines.

“He looked good yesterday until they ran gassers at the end of practice, and Geno Smith looked like he had done no conditioning,” Baldinger said of Smith. “It was actually embarrassing to see how far behind he was behind Sanchez, [Matt] Simms and everybody else that’s there.”
I guess everyone translates what they see a little differently, but it seems that Brian is on an island all by himself when he describes Geno’s conditioning.
Ellis Lankster has tweeted that he is very grateful to be back with the New York Jets and specifically playing for Rex Ryan. Ryan is known as a players coach, and to hear a player say (or tweet) this sediment is really no surprise.

It must have been New York Jets day and New York Yankees spring training on Monday. Joe Namath tweeted a picture of him greeting Derek Jeter, and Rex Ryan was seen in the crowd at the game and interviewed during the broadcast.
