The New York Jets Take on the Houston Texans tonight on MNF to finish off week 5 and honestly, I’m not worried. Let me explain. I’m not worried about losing, because I believe my expectations against a team that can pretty much do it all like the Texans, are pretty low.
They have an explosive offense led by Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson and Arian Foster. But that’s ok. I’m looking for the Jets to show some sign of life. With all the diversity they have experienced in this early season, the Jets been punched in the mouth with (Revis, Holmes, Injuries to just about every WR), it should be ok to give this team an excuse to quit and roll over. NOT ME.
Will the REAL NEW YORK JETS please stand up. This is the game I think will determine if there is any fight left in this team. At 2-2 and still in the hunt (luckily), losing the game won’t be the worst thing for me to see, it will be the fight in the players and if they have any left that I’ll be looking for.
Mark Sanchez MUST stop looking lost. Put it all on the line. Go out there and BALL OUT. End of story.
RUN THE DAMN BALL.
Stay in your Gap defense and for all that is holy, TACKLE.
Wide Receivers, CATCH the ball and run the appropriate routes.
Don’t start the guy, but can you PLEASE use Tim Tebow already the way that he was meant to be used… Spread option and let him throw.
Offensive Coordinator, Marty Mornhinweg, was unavailable to explain himself to the media after the game Sunday, but Yahoo sports have reached out this morning and here are some quotes from the Jets' OC.
