Tone is Ready to Go

The New York Jets announced that Holmes’ will only address the media once a week.  In his session yesterday, he said that he is READY to go.  He and Rex also spoke about Mark Sanchez and they also say the QB is their guy.

“As a rookie he was looked at as a weakness of our football team and I said, ‘There’s going to be a day where he’s viewed as a strength,’ ” Ryan said. “And I think that day is right now.”

“Spending three years with him I’ve seen a lot,” Holmes said. “He’s handling his situation the way a starting quarterback should handle his situation.”
