Jets Start Trimming down to 53 – Updated List

NFL teams must trim their rosters to 53 players by 9 p.m. Friday.  The Jets started making moves and it has been reported unofficially by beat writer Manish Mehta.  By his count, the Jets cut 17 players.  The rest will be cut after practice today.

This gets the Jets to 58 with 5 more cuts to go.  I Expect Sapp, Harrison and Dowtin to be on the practice squad if they clear waivers.
