Jets are looking for replacements for Wayne Hunter?

Here is an interesting tweet from Chris Mortenson.  A Jets fan asked Mort if the brass was looing at any FAs or trades to replace Wayne Hunter and he answered:

YES.  That they are no longer in denial.

Dan Leberfeld from @Jetswhispers ‘ points out that Mortenson is close with Jimmy Sexton, who happens to represent Rex Ryan and Tony Sparano.  He says go with it, this is probably true.

    Are the Jets sticking their heads in the sand? Hunter leads the league in sacks and QB pressures allowed by RTs last season. He leads the league in “watch out blocks” and they’re not looking to replace him? Hunter should be on the unemployed line instead of the offense line. There’s a good reason he was a back up his whole career. He might be a nice guy, but don’t massacrade as a NFL tackle. Take Sanchez out of his misery replace Hunter. The Jets’ first piority should be a RT. Where’s Winston Hill when we need him!
