Jeff Otah’s brief stint with the Jets is over, the Jets announced today.
The Jets traded for Otah last week to compete with Wayne Hunter for the starting right tackle job, but the trade with the Panthers for the former first-round pick was contingent upon Otah passing a physical by today. Otah failed his physical today, according to a team spokesman, and will return to Carolina. – Read More
We are in Cortland for the next three days, and while we were out last night, we saw Jeff Otah out and judging by his body language (and his limp) I didn’t think he was going to be a Jet for long. Just from what I’ve been hearing all week and what I saw last night, I didn’t thing Otah looked like a player who was resting for his big physical the next day.
