Here are some random quick hits for June 7th with my quick thoughts on each topic.
Rex Ryan wants and thinks his team are the OTA Champs of the world.
Fly west Holmes.
Tebow is just absolutely ridiculous.
Hit 1: 99% and Still Reigning OTA Champs

Ryan references Channing Crowder calling the Jets the “OTA champs” again. Said he wants to be OTA champs in addition to SB champs. #nyj6/7/12 2:56 PM
Remember now, OTAs are supposed to be voluntary. 99% rate of workouts hit?! Think the Jets want it this season, I sure do!! Rex stated that this is the highest attendance total EVER for OTAs since Rex Ryan has been the head coach of the Jets.
Remember the fights Rex had with Channing Crowder of the Miami Dolphins, well Rex apparently likes to reference and open old wounds. Show off the belt BIG BOY Slender Man, you deserve it!
I never had a doubt. Honestly. Mark attended Holmes mini-camp in FL a couple of months ago and in the third year of Mark’s Jets West, the skill players always go. This is Holmes first time at Jets West but last year he was in the middle of signing an extension and I don’t blame him for not wanting to participate in an activity that could affect that deal if he were to get hurt.
For those that want to say that Tebow’s presence is having an affect on Holmes and the rest of the Jets and Tim’s the reason why everyone is getting along, JUST STOP. That’s not the reason why Holmes is going. He knows it’s in his best interest to get in sync with Mark Sanchez. Period.
QB Tim Tebow’s teammates have accepted him, but good-natured challenges keep coming. According to coach Rex Ryan, an unnamed lineman challenged Tebow to a weight room competition where they competed to see who could hold weights the longest with his arms outstretched. The lineman managed 1:04. Tebow beat him with 1:18. via Lisa Zimmerman
Ryan tells a Tebow story: Says Tebow responded to lineman challenge in weight room … and won. #Jets6/7/12 3:06 PM
