There is some activity concerning the Revis crew on Twitter. Darrelle told a fan to shutup, John Geiger’s twitter account was renamed, and Revis’ Agents join the twittersphere.
On Twitter, when a fan called Revis out and used an obscenity to tell him the fans will be done with him if he holds out again this year, Revis’s answer was two words long: “shut up.”
Revis also told Gary Myers of the New York Daily News that he’s not concerned about any backlash because he doesn’t think the backlash could get any worse than it got during training camp in 2010, when Revis stood his ground, refused to report, and ultimately was rewarded with a new four-year contract. via -ProFootballTalk

So is this a smart strategy by Revis? He was recorded by a beat writer as being “Testy” when asked about his contract and now responding to fans who are being nasty to Darrelle on twitter. Maybe Darrelle should lay low again. If you recall when this talk heated up the last time, Darrelle and his manager John Geiger, @geigergeiger, disappeared off twitter until all this was resolved.
I know it must be frustrating to get this hate tweets, but Darrelle, when you tweet back, especially telling a fan to SHUT UP, you are adding fuel to the fire.
I went to search for John Geiger’s reaction to this and found that his account no longer exists!
Offensive Coordinator, Marty Mornhinweg, was unavailable to explain himself to the media after the game Sunday, but Yahoo sports have reached out this morning and here are some quotes from the Jets' OC.
