The New York Jets want a competition for the kicking job as they have signed newly cut Rams kicker Josh Brown.
Brown, 33, was cut this week by the Rams, who drafted Greg Zuerlein of Missouri Western in the sixth round. Brown’s accuracy slipped last season, as he made only 75 percent of his FG attempts (21-for-28) — not too good, considering the Rams played indoors. – Read More

“It’s going to be an excellent competition,” Ryan said at a charity event in Eatontown, N.J. “I think Nick was better last year than in his first year. I think this will be good for both guys.”
