New York Jets Backup QB Mark Brunell tweeted he was visiting his daughter at the University of Alabama this week. A day later he was tweeting how proud he was as she became Miss University of Alabama. Scotty McKnight and Nick Bellore tweeted their congrats.
If you recall from 2009 when the Jets were on HBO’s Hard Knocks, Mark warned the younger Sanchez (who is closer to his daughter’s age than the elder QB) that he is not allowed near his daughter.

University of Alabama student Caitlin Brunell, a sophomore dance major from Morristown, N.J., was selected as the 2012 Miss UA from a field of 18 contestants during a recent competition held at the Bama Theatre in Tuscaloosa.

She will represent the University in the Miss Alabama competition June 6-9 in Birmingham. The winner of the state title will compete in Las Vegas for the title of Miss America.
