Jim Leonhard answers Aaron Maybin’s tweet by saying the Jets are going to make a run

During the playoffs over the weekend Jim Leonhard was tweeting about his school’s alumni, University of Wisconsin, JJ Watt and Lee Evens.  Aaron Maybin, a PSU grad, was asking how he was doing.  What I like about Jim’s response is that he says the Jets are making a run.

My question is, a run at what?  I know what he meant, but after how the season ended, I’m ok if they make a run at healing the locker room.

    is this Leonhard’s insider read of Rex’s belief that Woody and Mike T. will supply whatever $$$ resources are needed to produce a winner now and not adopt a slow build philosophy. If that’s the case, then feelers are probably out to Indy with a remote hope that something can be worked out and the need for a QB Coordinator is academic.
