Brad Smith was asked by Bills fan if he is glad to be off the Jets

It has been a strange day for me watching Jets players, NFL media and other players comment on the state of the Jets locker room.  What really intrigues me is when a former Jets player chimes in.

Leon Washington said something brief yesterday, Kerry Rhodes spoke about the leadership, and I stumbled upon this tweet of a Bills fan asking Brad Smith if he is glad he no longer plays for the Jets.

RShutts @RealBradSmith with all these reports about the bickering Jets, are you glad you are no longer there? Doesn’t seem like a tight unit to me. 1/11/12 8:25 AM

    The reality of the fact is that we couldn’t afford to keep Smith.  I wish him the best.  He was a good Jet during his years here.

      I agree, his price tag was too high, but maybe we were paying for something we couldn’t see, his leadership / chemistry… or maybe not.

        I can’t image that Brad Smith was the glue that held that locker room together.
