We brought you news recently that Matt Slauson joined twitter and only 12 days after tweeting he disabled his account. Dennis Waszak Jr., a Jets beat reporter spoke with Matt and tweeted his reason:
| DWAZ73 btw, #Jets LG/1-week Twitter star Matt Slauson says he deactivated account and has no plans to re-activate it anytime soon. 12/2/11 2:22 PM |
| DWAZ73 Slauson said 95% of feedback, comments were positive/fun. It was other 5% that made him reconsider. Probably a smart move. #Jets 12/2/11 2:25 PM |
Look I get it. Players get hate tweeted to them every day. But you gave it only 12 days! Matt that wasn’t long enough to give it a chance and 5% of hate isn’t too bad (in my book). I get bad tweets as well, and no I’m not a player, but I always stand by what I say. As a novice, you did go head first into twitter criticizing Suh and although your words were harsh for your former teammate, what made you being online great was you spoke your voice. You didn’t sugar coat it, doing it polite and professional, but you spoke your true thoughts.
Please reconsider big guy.
