Since I’m on a “List” kick, (posted most disliked player), I thought I’d see what Jerseys were doing the best in sales by team and then indvidual. Yes the Jets are on the list as a popular team:
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- Dallas Cowboys
- New England Patriots
- Chicago Bears
- Philadelphia Eagles
- New Orleans Saints
- New York Giants
- New York Jets
- Baltimore Ravens.
The undefeated Green Bay Packers rank first in the National Football League in terms of team merchandise sold on NFLShop.com.
In the period from April 1 through Oct. 31, the Super Bowl defending champions are atop the league for sales on the NFL website. In second place is the team the Packers defeated in the Super Bowl: the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Among individual players, quarterback Aaron Rodgers has the top-selling jersey at NFLShop.com in the same time period. And Clay Matthews’ jersey ranks fourth.
Here’s the rest of the team list after Pittsburgh: Dallas Cowboys; New England Patriots; Chicago Bears; Philadelphia Eagles; New Orleans Saints; New York Giants; New York Jets; and Baltimore Ravens.
Among individual players, here’s the rest of the list after Rodgers: Troy Poamalu, Steelers; Tom Brady, Patriots; Matthews; Michael Vick, Eagles; Drew Brees, Saints; Miles Austin; Cowboys; Tony Romo; Cowboys; Dez Bryant, Cowboys; Witten, Cowboys.
