Practice today was held outside in a soggy rainy day for the New York Jets. The beat writers were tweeting away with which new faces were on the field as well as certain injured KEY Jets were out there. Mangold, Sanchez and Cromartie were out on the field in different capacities.
| KristianRDyer Mangold is seperate from the team, stretching as is Cromartie. No helmet for either one. #Jets 9/28/11 12:12 PM |

- Mark Sanchez (Broken Nose) was stretching with his teammates.
- Nick Mangold (Ankle) had his boot off with no pads and was off to the side working with a trainer. (VERY GOOD SIGN)
- Antonio Cromartie (Bruised Lung) also had no pads on and was working with a trainer in the area of Mangold. Kyle Wilson was with the number one’s on D to replace Cromartie.
| RichCimini Cromartie moving well in agility drills. I’d expect him to play this week with some sort of extra padding on his ribs. #Jets 9/28/11 12:32 PM |
- Aaron Maybin returned to the team with #51. He was working with the Special Teams.
- Eddie Jones who signed withe the practice squad was in #99. New TE Webb was wearing #83.
